Moving into the future, by reaching back to the past.

A little of our background which led to the development of Bahukara.

Abdullah is a rural GP and Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine Physician.

Suzanne is a Chef, Vet Nurse, Ex Executive and Nutritionist.

Our goal is to live and promote a healthy lifestyle by using food over medicine whenever possible.

We are driven by Dr Abdullah’s first hand work with the aged and ill health, often caused by poor lifestyle and diet choices. Another factor is Suzanne’s extensive list of allergies which led us to creating a 100% off the grid farm in order to show people how they too can step down, step back and improve their health and well – being.

Inspiration came from The Middle Ages when life was simpler and people had to rely on what they could grow, gather and preserve in order to live well. We have adopted elements of many cultures form that period and the present day. Combining this with Abdullah’s extensive knowledge of modern day medicine, we believe that EVERYONE can improve their own health and well-being.

Hence our Meal in a Jar range consisting of health ingredients and bold flavours which are nutritional power houses taking almost no time and effort to prepare.
